My first year at PAX was amazing, I'll try and sum it up with free drinks, free gaming/arcade time, free console, and nerds... nerds everywhere. Also dancing zombies from Plants vs Zombies.
There is so much I could write but it's hard to sum up Pax in writing so all I can say is come out next year and I highly doubt you'll regret it.

Yes so after four SUUUUPPPPER years I am now a nurse (with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing if you want to get fancy, which I do). I'm pretty stoked but right now it's all about finding a job! I'm not so much looking at the town I'm in right now as I am in Vancouver, Calgary, or possibly in a more rural area that might offer me full time. I still have a registration exam in June to study, so it's not quite over yet but so close!
And this will be my first year going to PAX, I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself.
I'm potentially bringing the following as costumes,

I love how no matter what I do I always seem to be working on costumes right up till the last minute, I honestly have a really bad problem.
I'll be wearing Chou'un from Ikkitousen & Chibiusa from Sailor Moon S (teenage version)
I would just like to say that I will forever and ever hate pleats.
No matter how badly sewn my rushed costumes are, I am so stoked to hang out with friends down there.

Sorry for a late reply, I haven't logged in here in so long!

They are vinyl material painted with acrylic, I used masking tape to get them as straight as I could. I attached the pouches with vinyl as well but I should have used stronger material because they didn't last very long, everyone always bumps into them in the convention hall. So I'd recommend something really sturdy/thick to attach them to your belt!
The boots I just found 'riding boots' on ebay and spray painted them with a plastic based spray paint, they still cracked a bit. I have seen leather paints around that might work out better.
